WHAT  IS  ASPHALT  ?

Asphalt occasionally  known as Bitumen / Macadem is consisted  mineral based liquid dirved from crude oil. This liquid is mixed with stone / aggergate and sand. Once the desired mix is created, it is then heated  / cooked.

 

WHAT  IS  SEALCOATING  ?

Sealcoating is a specialized coating that  seals and protects and rejuvanates your surface from harmful chemicals & solvents ( gas, motor oil , etc. ) that eats away at your surface that causes pre-mature failure. Sealer is a Product that  contains oils and minerals that is ment to be absorbed by such surface.  SEALCOATING IS PART OF PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE ( ex: Car = oil change / Asphalt = Sealer  )  MAINTENANCE SHOULD BE PREFORMED AS TO OUR RECOMMENDATIONS.

 

 

How long will Asphalt last. ?
STRONG fondation will last 15 + years ( New Construction ) or 10+ ( Resurface  )  with PROPER maintenance.

 

 Do i need to be on- site to while the job is being completed ?
NO, we understand that you have a schedule and other obligations we strive to work with you not aginst you.

 

 How long does it take to Complete a Job ?
On a Average within 1-2 days
 

 How long after the work is completed  do i need to stay off ?
SEALCOATING : standard  12 - 24 HOURS.  Commerical Rapid Mixes available

CRACKFILLING : ( HOT TAR RUBBERIZED ) 20 mins - 1 hour

LINE STRIPING : 15 mins

ASPHALT DRIVEWAY : ( new construction 5 - 7 days ) ( Resurface 2 - 3 days )

ASPHALT PARKING LOT / ROADWAY : 15 MINS - 1 DAY depending on usage and mix design

CONCRETE : 5 - 7 DAYS ( roadway / driveway ) 3 days ( walkway / patio )
 

 When should  NEW  asphalt be Sealcoated or Maintenance ?
Asphalt can be sealed after 90 days with ( Asphalt Base / Gilsonite Sealer ) or 180 days with Emulsion / Laytex / Acrylic.  Maintence is required within 1 year after installation and 2 - 3 year intervals.
